Din Djarin (Mando) rescued the force-sensitive child, Grogu, from Moff Gideon. After a battle on Gideon's cruiser to secure the child, Mando is left in possession of the Dark Saber. Jedi Master Luke Skywalker saved Mando, Grogu, and their team from a platoon of Dark Troopers.
After a heartfelt goodbye, Grogu leaves with Skywalker to master his abilities. Mando's season-long mission to reconnect Grogu with his kind is complete.
